Although Peru opened its borders to neighboring countries in October 2020, the current list now includes, among others, the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
On January 4th, 2021 Peruvian authorities imposed a mandatory 14-day quarantine for any travellers coming into the country. This confinement period can be fulfilled in private accommodation (hotels, temporary rentals, family homes, etc.) or the government will provide a designated location. On the 6th day of confinement, travelers will be able to retake a PCR COVID-19 test. A negative result will allow them to resume their travel plans throughout the country. Throughout the sales process, we will work to provide more flexible booking conditions. Deposits and payment plans can be defined according to the itinerary. For postponements, we may negotiate periods of up to 24 months with additional perks and waive any Peru Empire fees. Please contact your experience concierge for more details.
